| STADTWIKI |

The StadtWiki Karlsruhe (CitiWiki Karlsruhe) is an online information portal for the people of the region of Karlsuhe in Northern Baden-Württemberg. It has been initiated in 2004 by a citizen of Karlsruhe.
Following the logics of the “wisdom of the crowds”, the wiki is not administered by a single person or institution, it rather allows citizens to write posts and articles and share their knowledge. The only thing they have to do is register as authors. There are regular meetings (every two months) in which the authors of the wiki come together and debate about the development of the project and generate new ideas. |
